  • The Concept of Alloy Design and High Entropy alloys (HEAs), Multi-component Glasses vs. HEAs, Predicting Phase formation in HEAs, alloy design concepts in HEAs, Synthesis routes of HEAs, Variety of HEAs and High Entropy Materials, Properties of HEAs.

The students will get a clear understanding of the physical metallurgy of multicomponent equiatomic & near equiatomic systems and fundamental knowledge to design such alloys for specific properties and applications
